Scott Hasemeier worked as a Chef for over 25 years in San Francisco, D.C., Seattle, Dallas, and Pinehurst. Taste and aesthetics were always paramount in his creations. About two and half years ago, he started dabbling in the arts of chocolate. He was able to take his creations to a new level artistically and thus began a new passion.

He started slowly by handing out his delicious homemade creations to his friends and family. From there he began frequenting the local Farmer's Markets. As luck would have it some of those beautifully handcrafted delights made its way to George Manley and the idea of a brick and mortar location at 15 Chinquapin Road, Pinehurst was born.

Focusing on chocolate has given Scott the ability to provide a high level product and a new experience for his customers. Recently he studied under world renowned chocolatier Melissa Coppel in Las Vegas and he plans to continue to hone his craft with further studies.

Scott enjoys providing and experience for his customers, so the 15 Chinquapin location will be catering to bachelorette parties and small gatherings as well as two chocolate making classes per month in June, July & August- 3 classes will be geared towards adults and 3 will be geared towards children. Stay tuned for more details on the delights coming to 15 Chinquapin in the near future.
